CBIT & Family Night

Tourette Chapter: CBIT & Family Night
WHEN: Friday, May 31 @ 6:00 P.M.
WHERE: Redeemer Church: 6450 S Kingshighway, St. Louis, 63109

Cognitive Behavior Intervention for Tics (CBIT) has proven to be one of the best therapies for those with Tourette. CBIT focuses on tic-awareness and competing response training. Karen Balk, Occupational Therapist, is going to be leading a discussion for parents on this therapy and how it can benefit children and teens.
In addition, Devin Downey, one of our young adults with Tourette, will be hosting a movie night for the kids in a Theater Room. They’ll be able to watch “The Secret Life of Pets” while we meet.
Our host facility, Redeemer Church, has offered use of several meeting spaces to allow for families to attend and benefit from the time together. There is no cost for this event.
